The Eagles The Eagles are an American rock band, popular in the 1970s. They helped to create the Southern California country rock sound. Their Greatest Hits 1971–1975 and Hotel California, ranked among the ten best-selling albums. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. After 28 years of no Eagles, they reunited to release a new album in 2007, Long Road Out of Eden. Their first single was, "Take It Easy," written by Glenn Frey and his fellow country-folk rocker, Jackson Browne. The song reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was followed by the bluesy "Witchy Woman" and the soft country rock ballad "Peaceful Easy Feeling." Don Henley and Glenn Frey began writing some of the Eagles' most popular songs: "Tequila Sunrise" "Desperado," "Twenty-One," "Doolin' Dalton" and the ballad "Saturday Night. The album, On the Border, moved away from their country music style towards hard rock. The song "Best of My Love," became a hit in March 1975. The Trinity P2500 band recorded arrangements of Already Gone and Best of My Love Already Gone 1974
Well, I heard some people talking just the other day
The letter that you wrote me Made me stop and wonder why
And I'm already gone And I'm feeling strong I will sing this victory song
Well, I know it wasn't you Who held me down
But me, I'm already gone And I'm feeling strong Yes, I'm already gone Already gone, all right Nighty-night Already gone Already gone |
