Stevie Nicks Stephanie Lynn "Stevie" Nicks (born May 26, 1948) is an American singer and songwriter, known for her work with Fleetwood Mac and a long solo career; she created over twenty hits. As a member of Fleetwood Mac, she was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Fleetwood Mac was formed in 1967 and underwent a series of reincarnations. The only member of the band who persevered was drummer Mick Fleetwood. Keyboardist Christine McVie was second in endurance, writing some of the hit songs and appearing on all but two albums. Lindsey Buckingham and "Stevie" Nicks became part of Fleetwood Mac in 1973. An album released in 1975 reached #1 in the US charts. Popular songs included Christine McVie's "Over My Head," "Say You Love Me", and Stevie Nicks' "Rhiannon.” Another album released in 1977, Rumours, was the best-selling album of the year, a Grammy Award winner for the Album of the Year in 1977. Buckingham' wrote "Go Your Own Way", Nicks wrote "Dreams" and Christine McVie wrote "Don't Stop" and "You Make Loving Fun". The Trinity P2500 Band arrangement of Dreams was recorded at the Persona
