Environmed Hosts Two Websites Alpha Online for detailed medical information and ordering printed books and nutrient formulas. Persona Digital for downloading eBooks, music, digital documents and multimedia Environmed Research Inc. was founded in 1984 In Vancouver, British Columbia by Stephen Gislason MD. The goal of the company was to pursue the basic biotechnology of health-promotion and disease prevention. Alpha Nutrition was established as a division of Environmed Research in 1998. Alpha Nutrition® is a registered trademark. Persona Audio Visual Productions is another division since 1984. Persona develop audiovisual production capabilities for the company. Research projects in psychoacoustics created a foundation for using sound as therapy. Much of the development work in the 90's will come to fruition with a new initiative begun in 2007 to market music and sound recordings designed for meditation and healing. Music downloads were introduced in 2008.
